Viivo now supports Google Authenticator as a form of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

This added level of protection to your Viivo identity is available for Viivo Pro and Viivo For Business users. Adding a Google Authenticator pairing with Viivo is easy, just follow the steps below.

1. Access MFA Management Portal

Open the Viivo Manager (version 3.0.83 or higher) and open the Account Tab on the left side. Click on the button labeled "Setup". This will open a web browser to the MFA management portal.

2. Add Pairing

After the Viivo MFA Management page loads, click the link to Add Google Authenticator.

3. Generate QR Code

On your second device (most likely a mobile device), open the Google Authenticator (or TOTP supported app) and scan the QR code presented on the screen. If you do not have the ability to scan the QR code, you can manually enter the character below the QR code. After entering the values in the device, you should be presented with a time based token. Enter the token into the Viivo MFA Management field labeled "Token".

4. Configure Protections

After successfully entering the token, you Viivo account will be protected with MFA using Google Authenticator. You can now configure what types of Viivo actions to protect. It is recommended to leave them all enabled for the best protection, but the configuration can be defined by each user.

5. See MFA in Action

Now when you log in to your Viivo account, you will be prompted to enter a token. This token is the value stored in the Google Authenticator (or TOTP supported app).

6. MFA Management

You can make changes, add more devices or remove MFA pairings at any time by entering the MFA Management portal from the Viivo Manager. Open the Account tab in the Viivo Manager and click the button labeled "Change".
